Introduction
The idea of ascension often brings to mind images of spiritual transcendence and rising to higher consciousness. But what does it really mean? This article explores the deep connection between shadow work and ascension. It explains how facing and integrating our hidden parts is vital for emotional healing and spiritual growth. We’ll look at the energetic and psychological reasons behind this journey. We’ll use ideas from ancient wisdom and modern understanding.
Many think of ascension as moving literally upward into higher dimensions. This is like the Christ figure going up into heaven. While it does mean an elevation of being, it’s more about expanding awareness. It’s also about raising our energetic frequency. This shift is tied to our Luminous Energy Field, or LEF. This is also called the light body. It holds our energetic blueprints, our genetic traits, and our karmic imprints. Understanding the LEF helps us see how shadow work aids this energetic expansion.
This guide will show you the vital role of shadow work. It’s key to navigating past-life patterns and collective blind spots. These obstacles can block spiritual progress. We will uncover how ignored parts of ourselves can cause problems. This happens when we don’t acknowledge them and ultimately stops our ascension.
Understanding Ascension and the Luminous Energy Field (LEF)
The True Meaning of Ascension: Expansion, Not Evasion
Ascension is often pictured as an upward journey. It’s more about expanding our awareness. It’s about raising our level of being. This means shifting to a higher frequency. It’s not necessarily an escape from our current reality. Instead, it’s about evolving our consciousness. We are raising our vibration.
This elevation is about our energetic state. It’s a rise in our being onto a higher frequency. Think of it as becoming more aware. We’re elevating our level of existence. It’s about growing inwardly.
The Luminous Energy Field (LEF): Your Energetic Blueprint
The Luminous Energy Field, or LEF, is a core concept. It’s the shamanic view of the light body. The LEF is a toroidal field. It looks like a donut. It’s a quantum donut, creating a feedback loop. This connects you to your environment. You receive energy from your surroundings and you also send information back out.
This field holds everything about us. It contains our etheric templates. These are our energetic designs, our genetic predispositions, inherited traits. It also stores our karmic imprints. This is all the information that makes us who we are.
Ascension means that we move beyond the limits of the LEF. It’s like stepping past a film-like layer of our body. We’re moving into a higher energetic state.
The Crucial Role of Shadow Work in Ascension
Past Lives, Collective Blind Spots, and the Lemurian Example
Many of us have lived in past civilizations. Think of Atlantis or Lemuria. Some timelines show Atlantis as a golden age. According to ancient scripts it was a living library when we were like avatars. But then came a fall due to dark magic or technology.
When technology outpaces human consciousness, imbalance occurs. This creates devastating effects. It impacts the collective psyche. It can also attract natural disasters. Lemuria also faced devastation. Many timelines show this.
Many of us were part of a group back then. We were like the Mayans. We were close to shifting our collective vibration and we could have moved our consciousness to a higher state. We were aiming for a golden age but because we didn’t make it, many of us still carry grief from that catastrophe.
Confronting Denied Aspects: The Root of Stagnation
Once, we had pure intentions. We were heart-centered but we also had a collective blind spot. It was denied hate because we viewed hate as lesser. We didn’t want to admit we had it. We denied embodying it.
By denying it, we manifested what we rejected instead of manifesting our pure intentions. This is why shadow work is so important. It’s crucial for spiritual awakening and key to the ascension process.
We might have beautiful intentions. We might see ourselves as angels. We might try to befriend our shadow aspects. But this can still make us feel less than. It makes us see humanity as fighting its divinity. This approach actually suppresses things. We don’t own what we hold.
The universe notices what we hold. It doesn’t matter if we acknowledge it. If we possess it, it’s ours. We can bypass it or ignore it. It still affects what we attract. We need to be present with ourselves. We must be humble and we need to acknowledge the parts that aren’t pretty.
The Practice of Witnessing: A Gateway to Integration
The Power of Non-Judgmental Observation
Holding an unconditional presence is important. We must be able to acknowledge things. We need to be in a witness position. This is a powerful state. Meditation helps us get there. It’s not about transcending everything.
Transcendence happens naturally. It comes from holding a non-judgmental space. We simply witness our inner experiences. If we can’t witness our inner selves, we can’t own them. If we avoid them, they don’t go away.
In fact, denial fuels these aspects. It makes them stronger. This is how ascension can go wrong. We have good intentions but we don’t do enough inner work. We might only see other’s shadows and therefore we fail to relate them to our own.
Ascension Gone Wrong: Beautiful Intentions Without Inner Work
This is the heart of the great work. It’s true in alchemy and psychology. It’s also true in Gnosticism and New Age thought. We encounter denied aspects. They reflect what we hold inside. The question is: are you willing to apply this to yourself? Or will you see the world as attacking you?
This happens when we think we have high vibes. We think we’re so good. That’s when we adopt an angel mentality and this can cause problems. Even with the best intentions, things can go awry.
It’s important to remember this. We are unpacking things in this life. We don’t always have references for them and often we lack context. The issues we face now seem mild. But they relate to deeper issues. These are the roots we’re healing.
Navigating Past-Life Trauma and Present-Day Triggers
Unpacking Unfamiliar Wounds: The Current Zeitgeist of Healing
Many of us were traumatized in past lives. We might have suffered horribly. Our gifts might have caused us harm. But now, we are awakening. We are coming to our avatar consciousness.
Now, many of us still have no reference for those events. But we face situations that trigger them. We might experience betrayal, we might feel abandoned, we might face aggression. Over time, these are often less intense now. But they activate old wounds.
Once triggered, at least we can safely unpack them and we can process the emotions. In the 1920s, no one talked about emotional of spiritual healing. It simply wasn’t the spirit of the age. It wasn’t the zeitgeist then. The 1950s were the same.
There’s a reason we are trauma-informed now. We are trauma-aware and healing is a huge topic today. This is because this lifetime is about unpacking. We access these deep issues through our environment. We also access them through relationships. This brings them to the surface for healing.
The High Stakes of Denial: Embracing Your Full Spectrum
None of this works well if we see everything as an attack. We can’t think we’re just “too high vibe”. It’s better to own our hate. It’s better to own denial. It’s better than facing the chaotic results of holding denial within our energy field.
Viewing ascension as just a concept is not enough. It’s a process. We commit to this life, we set up this time and space for inner progress. We should want to access past-life patterns, to bring them forward. We want to bring them into our consciousness because this allows us to heal them. This is shadow work.
Conclusion: Embracing Your Shadow for True Ascension
Shadow work is not optional. It’s fundamental to ascension. Owning all parts of ourselves is vital. This includes the difficult aspects and it’s key for genuine spiritual growth.
At any moment, the stakes are too high to ignore our shadows. Denial creates energetic consequences. It’s better to face what’s denied and it’s better than dealing with denial’s effects. Our energy field holds these patterns until we transmute them.
We came into this life committed. We planned to access and heal past life issues. Shadow work is essential for this progress. I hope this has helped your journey. You should now have a better grasp of shadow work’s importance.
